These drawings are a direct, visceral response to the events taking place at the Capital Building in Washington DC on 6th January 2021. I completed these drawings in the two weeks between the insurrection and the inauguration of the 46th President of the USA. Normally I don\u2019t make images that comment on a particular incident in history, however in the great tradition of Goya, Gillray, Hogarth and Philip Guston.
